Valtos, the Skye-based electronic duo Martyn MacDonald and Daniel Docherty, reunite with Highland folk-fusion group Elephant Sessions on the single “Bloom.”
Following the success of their previous joint track 1990, a staple in both acts’ live shows, “Bloom” continues their collaborative momentum. The new release mixes upbeat house-inspired synths with live mandolin, fiddle, electric guitar, and bass. As a result, it bridges the organic drive of Elephant Sessions with Valtos’ polished electronica, creating a joyful summer-ready track.
