Since 2003, the Alabama-based quartet, Ricky Rogers (bass, vocals), Tony Robertson (mandolin, vocals), Vance Henry (guitar, vocals), and Anthony Richardson (banjo, vocals), has served as the primary studio band for the Pickin’ On series. Known for their technical precision, tight harmonies, and inventive arrangements, Iron Horse reinterprets rock and pop staples through a bluegrass lens.
Pickin’ On Creedence Clearwater Revival: Bluegrass Revival features bluegrass renditions of CCR hits such as “Proud Mary,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” and “Looking Out My Back Door.” The album maintains the earthy, melodic core of the original recordings while introducing a fresh acoustic perspective. Creedence Clearwater Revival’s fusion of rock, blues, and country continues to connect with audiences worldwide, more than five decades after the band’s breakup in 1972.
