The 28th edition of Spanish world music festival Etnosur has finalized its lineup with the addition of four high-energy acts: Muyayo Rif, Throes + The Shine, DJ Panko, and Anna Milman. These new names join an already diverse roster featuring Kiko Veneno, El Nido, Jupiter & Okwess, Kabeaushé, Ganna, Noriko Martín, Novalima, Puuluup, Carmen Xía, and PAUZA.

Set to take place from July 17 to 20 in Alcalá la Real (Jaén), Etnosur continues its mission of showcasing global music without boundaries. With flamenco, Afrobeat, folk, electronica, soul, dub, and ska in the mix, the festival offers a cross-genre experience where rhythm and culture converge.
Muyayo Rif, from Spain, brings a high-octane mix of ska, rock, and Latin beats. Known for their socially charged lyrics and energetic performances, the band embodies Etnosur’s spirit of music as both celebration and resistance.
DJ Panko, a veteran of the world music scene in Spain and former member of Ojos de Brujo, returns with a dance-focused set that combines flamenco, funk, and global beats. His hybridization approach makes him a staple of the festival.

Representing Angola and Portugal, Throes + The Shine combines kuduro, rock, and electronic music into an explosive live show. As they gear up to release their new EP Na Via in spring 2025, the trio offers a glimpse into the future of hybrid sounds.
Finally, violinist Anna Milman, born in Ukraine and based in Andalusia (Spain), adds a personal, genre-fluid voice to the lineup. Drawing on folk, Slavic sounds, and alt-pop influences, her music bridges heritage and innovation with emotional clarity.
Film, circus, workshops, exhibitions, and dialogue spaces, will be available as well.
