French accordionist and composer Cyrille Brotto has been on the road for over twenty years,
performing in concerts, dance halls and giving master classes in France and the rest of Europe.
Although he is best known as an accordion player, he is a multi-instrumentalist. Brotto has been involved in numerous collaboration projects such as the Occitan music Brotto Lopez project with flutist and singer Guillaume Lopez, the famous French band Les Ogres de Barback, Senegalese kora player Ablaye Cissoko, the duos Brotto Milleret, Raibaud Brotto and the band Groove Factory.
The Groove Factory project includes Cyrille Brotto and Stéphane Milleret on diatonic accordions, and Michaël Fontanella on bass, Moog, machines. The three musicians combine traditional dance music with samples and electronics.
The Brotto Milleret duo features Cyrille Brotto and Stéphane Milleret on diatonic accordions. With this format, the two musicians deliver modern folk dance music rooted in tradition.
