Danilo Brito is an extraordinary musician and author. He’s one of the great mandolinists of our time. Da Natureza das Coisas (The Nature of Things) showcases his talent as a composer and master instrumentalist.

Brito specializes in a Brazilian instrumental musical genre known as choro. It is an absorbing combination of Portuguese musical influences and rhythms that came from Africa.

Da Natureza das Coisas features a combination of lively and intimate pieces full of emotion, where the mandolin takes the leading role, accompanied by other string instruments and pandeiro (frame drum).
