Renowned flamenco composer and guitarist Niño Josele is set to release his new album Galaxias today, November 25, 2022. The recording is “a space trip of eight songs,” according to Niño Josele.
Coming from a long dynasty of guitarists and singers, Niño Josele (Almería, 1974) is one of the finest guitarists in the world. Heavily influenced by jazz, throughout his long musical career he has played with acclaimed artists such as Billy Evans, Phil Woods, Marc Johnson, Joe Lovano and Chano Domínguez.
Galaxias, in which Niño Josele fuses flamenco, jazz and tango, includes a rumba with Rubén Blades and a tribute to Chick Corea (a song they recorded together before the famed American artist died in 2021).
