The Music of Islam, Vol. 8: Folkloric Music of Tunisia is an album of captivating Tunisian folk music recorded at a home in the medina of Tunis.

The music consists of male vocals, bagpipes, and drums, including two splendid mawwals.

The ensemble includes Lotfi Jormana on vocals; Abdessalem Zarga on mizwid (Tunisian bagpipe), Fathi Bouguera on tabal drum; Fathi Dahleb on bendir (frame drum); Hichem Sallemi on darbuka; and Khaled Bekir on tar (tambourine).
