Kurdish Singer Aynur Tops the March 2020 Transglobal World Music Chart

The album Hedûr from celebrated Kurdish artist Aynur is the number one album in March 2020 at the Transglobal World Music Chart.

In 2017, Aynur received the Master of Mediterranean Music Award in the category of “Mediterranean Women in Action” from the Berklee Mediterranean Music Institute. This award recognized Aynur’s efforts to preserve and transform Kurdish folk music, which has made her an influential role model for other female artists in the Mediterranean music scene who are seeking to share their voices.
