The Kingdom of Netherlands is located in Western Europe, bordering the North Sea, Germany and Belgium.
In the summer of 2006, World Music Forum NL was founded as an open source for the Dutch world music sector. This network functioned as an easily accessible platform for labels, distributors, venues, media and educational institutions to advance and promote Dutch world music both domestically and abroad.
