It is the home of World Music Denmark, an organization that promotes world music in the country. In addition, several venues and music festivals present world music and all sorts of roots music.

The Danish Music Museum and Carl Claudius’ Collection located at Åbenrå 30 includes exhibitions presenting Danish Instruments Makers, Danish Folk Music and Composition Tools Throughout the Centuries.
