Button Boxes & Moothies returns to Aberdeen, Scotland, on November 14–16, 2025. Directed by Dr. Frances Wilkins of the Elphinstone Institute, the weekend festival centers on small free reed instruments, concertinas, melodeons, button accordions, mouth organs, and jaw harps.
The program features two days of tuition alongside concerts, ceilidhs, sessions, and talks. Events take place across the historic Old Aberdeen university campus.
Confirmed artists include Sandra Kerr, Sam Mabbett, Will Pound, Rick Epping, Eva Carroll, Kisna Panesar, Michael Wright, Allan MacDonald, Alex Wade, Meabh Mulligan, Tom Roche, Ron Clark, and Frances Wilkins.
