Souad Massi has reached No. 1 on the Transglobal World Music Chart for April 2026 with Zagate. The Franco-Algerian singer-songwriter presents a mix of folk, rock, and poetic songwriting with political commentary.
Massi collaborates with producer Justin Adams, who also plays guitar on the album. Other guests include Youssoupha on “Congo Connection” and Gaël Faye on “D’ici, De là-bas.”
