Decade Of Duende: FlamencoEñe Turns Ten In Granada

Fundación SGAE, in partnership with the Granada City Council, will mark the 10th anniversary of FlamencoEñe 2025 during the inaugural Granada Flamenco Biennial, scheduled for September 17–19, 2025.

The program spans two venues. The Centro Federico García Lorca will present six showcases focused on traditional flamenco under FlamencoEñe. Sala Planta Baja will host FlamencoEñe Off, featuring hybrid and boundary-pushing projects.

Six artists with the most classic duende at the Centro Lorca

Francisco Escudero “El Perrete,” José Luis Montón, Lucía Beltrán, Rafael de Utrera, Rocío Luna, and Planeta Jondo are the artists and groups that make up FlamencoEñe’s most orthodox lineup. All of them will perform at the impressive Centro Federico García Lorca (Plaza de la Romanilla, s/n. Tickets: €10/day. On sale at redentradas.com) starting at 7:00 p.m.

Experimentation, the focus of FlamencoEñe Off at the Planta Baja

Following the success of its three previous editions, FlamencoEñe Off once again offers the most experimental and contemporary side of the genre. Lara Wong and Melón Jiménez, Gitano de Palo, REZELO, DECHIPÉN, Ruido Clavel, and Sebastián Cruz will explore how flamenco can connect with other styles without losing its roots. The event will take place from September 17th to 19th, starting at 9:00 p.m. and with free admission until capacity is reached, at the legendary Planta Baja venue (Calle Horno de Abad, 11).

These twelve ensembles will perform for the public and meet industry professionals from around the world. As a professional platform, FlamencoEñe connects Spanish artists with international programmers invited by Fundación SGAE to foster new collaborations and tours that extend the genre’s global reach.
