Cheikh Ibra Fam has released the new single and video “Amoul Solo” (“Life Is Simple”), a track rooted in West African, Latin American and Afro-Portuguese influences.
The song examines the impermanence of fame, wealth, and desire. Brass lines and steady percussion support that theme with a wide-reaching sound.
Meanwhile, Fam’s new album, Adouna, is due April 10.
