Angélique Kidjo to Present Hope! in Central Park

Angélique Kidjo is set to perform at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield on August 23, 2026. Five-time Grammy Award winner and Polar Music Prize recipient Angélique Kidjo has built an acclaimed four-decade career as a singer, songwriter, actress, and activist.

She has collaborated with Peter Gabriel, David Byrne, Youssou N’Dour, Alicia Keys, Philip Glass, and Yo-Yo Ma. Her latest album, HOPE!!, features collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, IZA, and PJ Morton.
