Various Artists – Made in Vojka: Serbian Songs (Antonovka Records, 2026)
Made in Vojka: Serbian Songs presents the diverse Serbian folk traditions of Vojvodina, Serbia’s autonomous northern province.
Vojvodina is known for its multinational population, and its Serbian communities reflect a range of regional backgrounds. In the village of Vojka, located in the Srem region about 25 kilometers from Belgrade, three distinct Serbian folk traditions coexist: a local Srem ensemble alongside two groups whose roots trace to Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically Perućica in central Bosnia and Foča in eastern Herzegovina.
The captivating recordings were made at a concert held at the Vojka Community Center on October 26, 2024. The event was organized by the Perućičani Association and brought together local performers as well as ensembles from neighboring communities.

The album features performances by Folk Group “Perućičani” Vojka (tracks 1 and 9), Society for the Preservation of Folk Songs and Customs “Fočaci” Vojka (track 2), and Male Folk Group “Sremci” (track 3).

In addition, contributions come from Male Folk Group “Od Tromeđe do Mora” of Stara Pazova (track 4), Citizens’ Association “Sana” of Stara Pazova (tracks 5 and 6), Cultural and Artistic Society “Ivo Lola Ribar” of Krčedin (track 7), and gusle performer Ljupko Penezić of Batajnica (track 8).
