Saxophonist and flutist Belén Martín was born in Madrid (1997). She started playing the saxophone at the age of 10. After completing Higher Studies in Interpretation of Jazz and Current Music in 2020, she worked and collaborated with numerous artists such as Amparanoia, Chambao, Ojos de Brujo, Aziza Brahim, Tongo, Hafa, Creativa Big Band, Elvis Symphonic, La Shica, Maui, Arianna Pueyo, Vinila Von Bismark.
Currently, she leads of his own quintet with an original repertoire in which she delves into the intersections that exist between the traditions of jazz and flamenco, the result of years of research and interest in both styles. Moreover, Belén Martín works as an instructor at various educational centers in Madrid.
