Guitarist and composer Ray Obiedo has released the second volume of his Latin Jazz Project. Throughout the album, Obiedo skillfully plays exquisite electric guitar work grounded in contemporary jazz and irresistible Caribbean rhythms from Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. “Latin Jazz Project Vol. 2” is the 10th album from Obiedo.

On “Latin Jazz Project Vol. 2”, Obiedo delivers a mix of captivating dynamic compositions and laid back breezy, feel good musical pieces.

“Latin Jazz Project Vol. 2” features an impressive cast of musicians, including Yellowjackets’ saxophonist Bob Mintzer; acclaimed percussionist Sheila E.; flute player Norbert Stachel; trumpeter Mike Olmos; percussionist Peter Michael Escovedo; several members of Santana’s band, keyboardist David K. Mathews, trombonist and arranger Jeff Cressman and percussionist Karl Perazzo;  Hungarian pianist Peter Horvath; steel pan player Phil Hawkins; singers Lilan Kane, Sandy Cressman and Jenny Meltzer; and Dutch brothers Marc and Paul van Wageningen on bass and drums.
