Celebrated bluegrass band Balsam Range is set to release a new album titled “Moxie and Mettle” on September 24, 2021. The album will include the band’s four most recent singles, each of which topped the bluegrass charts.
The band from western North Carolina includes Buddy Melton on fiddle, lead and tenor vocals; Darren Nicholson on mandolin, octave mandolin, lead vocals, baritone and low tenor vocals; Dr. Marc Pruett on banjo; Tim Surrett on bass, dobro, baritone and lead vocals; and Caleb Smith on guitar, lead & baritone vocals.
