Rising World Music Act Mokoomba Announces Spring 2016 North American Tour

Zimbabwean band Mokoomba returns to stages in the United States and Canada in March and April 2016 with brand new material in advance of its future album, Luyando.

Mokoomba garnered international critical praise for its 2012 album Rising Tide that presented the band’s distinctive mix of pan-African and global sounds, everything from soukous to ska and salsa, with the musical traditions of the Luvale, Nyanja, and Tonga peoples of western Zimbabwe.
