UK Calypso Monarch Alexander D Great to perform in London

WOM@TT presents Alexander D Great,& The Great Band, Kiki B, Vee Vee, The Soca Divettes and G String on June 4th at The Tabernacle, Powis Square, London W11 2AY. The event is from 8-11pm and is just £5 advance/concessions/discounts & £8 at the door.

Alexander D Great – the reigning UK Calypso Monarch and WOM@TT Best of British Award 2010 winner brings you a brilliant steer on topical matters, great musicianship,’overproof’ lyrics and irresistible dance tracks. He’s joined by Junior Monarch 2009 Kiki B with incisive lyrics, The marvellous Soca Divettes, Carnival original G String and Vee Vee – Junior Monarch 2010 all backed by the Great Band. The secret of Calypso – with soca infusions – is that whatever the topic, there’s always humor and fun – and dancing!

It’s easy to get to The Tabernacle with buses including 7, 15,23,27,28, 32, 52, 295. 328 & 452 & Ladbroke Grove & Westbourne Park tubes. Parking is derestricted on Saturday evenings; however always avoid residents’ bays!
