Tibetan vocalist Yungchen Lhamo is set to release her seventh album titled One Drop of Kindness on September 8, 2023. The album features a combination of songs, prayers, and mantras dedicated to spiritual awakening, unconditional love, and compassion for all beings. Yungchen Lhamo’s ethereal voice is accompanied by a diverse range of Western and world instruments, creating a mesmerizing fusion of sounds.
The album’s lead single, “Overcoming Obstacles” sets the tone for the album’s themes of resilience and personal growth. Additionally, a second single titled “Sound Healing” is scheduled to be released on August 25, 2023, along with an accompanying music video.
Yungchen Lhamo’s album takes listeners on a world music journey from moments of quiet and shimmering beauty to rhythmic tribal trances, offering a unique form of sound healing for a global audience. The album features a rich variety of instruments, including piano, flute, drums, electric guitar, didgeridoo, Indian violin, Turkish cümbüs and Armenian duduk.
