Clara Montes Releases Flamenco Rooted Single “Ya sé”

Spanish singer and songwriter Clara Montes has released a new single titled “Ya sé“. Clara provides details about the song: ““Ya sé” is a song of an encounter, a fleeting moment that one cannot forget and that perhaps makes the course of your life change.

With the incredible help of Jesús Antúnez, this song was created little by little in the studio, with fun and trying many things, Diego Marsellés’ guitar was essential and then Javi Rojas’ bass, Bandolero’s percussion, Antúnez’s drums and Melón Jiménez’s flamenco guitar The result is a fun, light and sweet song.

Clara Montes was born in Madrid, with roots in Andalusia (Huelva and Seville). She currently resides in Cádiz. From a very young age and in her adolescence, she received a solid musical education, especially related to flamenco, first through her father, and later receiving guitar lessons from Ramón Montoya and the composer, teacher and soloist Andrés Batista. She trained in music theory, harmony and singing in various schools in Madrid and Buenos Aires.

She is a versatile singer, actress and composer who has released eleven albums to her credit. Furthermore, she has also composed for film, theater, and documentary soundtracks. In 1998, she recorded her award-winning first solo work, singing twelve poems by Antonio Gala.
