Despite his profound respect for the folk music traditions, he delivers an exquisite set of tunes where Norwegian folk music meets other genres such as blues.
Åsmund Reistad is a Norwegian guitarist and composer who has been a part of the Norwegian folk music scene for more than twenty years. He has performed together with many of the best-known musicians in the country. Åsmund has focused on reviving Norwegian folk music by combining it with elements from other genres and arranging it in new ways.
