Acclaimed Quebec band Les Grands Hurleurs has a new album called Ellipse (La Compagnie du Nord). Ellipse showcases Les Grands Hurleurs’ traditional music style with a more acoustic, intimate, and organic sound.
The band has also grown from three to four members. The new lineup includes Nicolas Pellerin (vocals, fiddle, foot tapping) and Simon Lepage (double bass, bass) who join two of their long-time musical companions: Tommy Gauthier (fiddle, mandolin) and Olivier Rondeau (guitar).
