Artist Profiles: Joselito Acedo

Flamenco guitarist and composer José David Acedo Morales, better known as Joselito Acedo, was born in 1979 in Triana, Seville, Spain. Joselito grew up in the Triana neighborhood, one of the essential neighborhoods in Seville, known as the birthplace and home of many great Flamenco performers. Joselito is the son of José Acedo and his uncle is the great guitarist Rafael Riqueni.

In 2020 he released “Triana D.F. (Flamenco District)”, which he dedicated to the flamenco heritage of Triana. On “Triana D.F. (Flamenco District)”, Joselito performed various Flamenco forms including bulería, seguiriya and soleá.
