Acclaimed vocalist and accordionist Celina da Piedade, one of the most recognized singer-songwriters in Portuguese roots music, has released a live album.
“Celina da Piedade ao vivo na Casinha” (Sons Vadios, 2021) is Celina’s fourth album in her own name. The recording features her concert held last year that was streamed from the iconic studio of Xutos & Pontapés (well-known Portuguese rock band) in Lisbon, Portugal. It was made during a time of great uncertainty and crisis in the performing arts sector, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
