James Marienthal – Speak to the Sky (Silver Wave Records, 2020)
James Marienthal’s Speak to the Sky features a set of peaceful, meditative tracks inspired by nature and the open skies of the American West and Native American traditions. James Marienthal is the founder of the new age and world music label Silver Wave Records, a company that released well known new age, world fusion and American Indian music.
Marienthal uses various Native American flutes, bamboo flute, piano and rattles. He is joined by Arwen Ek on vocals and Tom Wasinger on lap steel and 12-string guitar.
