The album Gipsy Dance (ARC Music) by Esma’s Band – Next Generation continues the tradition of famed Macedonian Roma (Gypsy) singer Esma Redžepova, also known as Queen of the Gypsies.
Esma died on December 11, 2016, and members of her celebrated orchestra now continue her legacy as Esma’s Band – Next Generation. While all band members were among Esma’s closest and dearest, lead vocalist Eleonora Mustafovska was the only girl adopted by Esma, as well as being the only female vocalist trained by her.
