“Echoes of Japan” by Japanese ensemble Minyo Crusaders is the number 1 album in the June edition of the Transglobal World Music Chart. Minyo Crusaders, led by guitarist Katsumi Tanaka, has recreated historic Japanese folk songs (min’yō) by adding Latin American, African, Caribbean and Asian rhythms. “Echoes of Japan” (Mais Um) is their debut album.
