Harp player MAL Unveils “Connadh”

Glasgow-based Celtic music harper Malachy Arnold, known as MAL, has unveiled his latest single, “Connadh.”

Arnold began playing harp at age five, inspired by his aunt, acclaimed Irish harper Laoise Kelly. He later studied under Breton harper Tristan LeGovic, who introduced him to the Scottish clarsach tradition. His involvement with St. Roch’s Irish Minstrels CCE (Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann) deepened his experience in both Irish and Scottish repertoires. By his teens, Arnold had committed fully to a career in music.
