Madrid’s popular venue Café Berlín has announced a series of flamenco shows that will take place in January 2024. First, on January 12, Mercedes Luján will present her Flamencas show with original music by the guitarist and unreleased songs at Café Berlin. These songs will be part of her next album that will be released in 2024.
There will also be time for dance, with Fabiola Vanadia and her show Por mi sangre corre solo Danza (For My Blood Runs Only Dance) on Thursday, January 25.
Three of the most renowned and seasoned flamenco-jazz musicians, the trio Benavent, Di Geraldo, Pardo; will paint a blank musical canvas on January 27, with their excellent capacity for improvisation.
The last flamenco show of the month at Café Berlín will be on January 31 with a tribute to the masters, Pa’ Camarón (For Camarón), with Montse Cortés and Saúl Quiros on vocals; Carlos De Jacoba on vocals and guitar; Joni Jiménez on guitar; Bandolero on percussion; and El Oruco, dance.
