World Music Charts Europe for June 2023: Ana Aïcha Dominates with Top Spot

The album “Ana Aïcha” by Gaïsha has landed at #1 on World Music Charts Europe in June 2023. Gaïsha is the collaboration between Belgian-Moroccan singer Aïcha Haskal and former members of Absynthe Minded, Sylvie Kreusch, De Beren Gieren and Va Fan Fahre. Together, they deliver Middle Eastern & psychedelic grooves with a Brussels twist. Aicha Haskal’s vocal style mixes Arabic chants, parlando and even rap.
