Lalala Napoli Celebrates Neapolitan Roots and Trance on Cavalluccio

Cavalluccio is the new album from French band Lalala Napoli. The ensemble is led by accordionist and vocalist François Castiello, who has Italian roots. Castiello is well known as a member of French band Bratsch.

Lalala Napoli explores the music of Naples and other parts of southern Italy, bringing together tarantella trance music, love serenades, tammurriata, and Calabrian traditions.

Band members include François Castiello on accordion and vocals; Julien Certin on accordion; Thomas Garnier on flute, guitar, ciaramella; Maxime Oudry on double bass, Nicolas López on violin; and François Vinoche on drums.
