He studied the great maestros of cante alongside guitarists such as Paco de Antequera, Manolo Molina and Pepe Pucherete. His special and deep voice allows him to master a wide range of cantes. “He sings with the intensity of his youth and the wisdom of an old man” (Felix Grande).

Paco del Pozo has performed all over the world in different companies featuring bailaores (dancers) of an internationally recognized prestige and has shared the stage with the likes of Carmen Linares, Vicente Amigo, Estrella Morente, El Lebrijano and Rancanpino among others.

For his first recording, Vestido de Luces (Vestido de Luces refers to the shining clothes worn by the bullfighters in the bullring), the young cantaor Paco del Pozo paid a special homage to a famous dynasty of bullfighters, the Ordóñez family, embracing texts by great contemporary Spanish poets: Gerardo Diego, Antonio Murciano as well as Angel Peralta.

Acompanied by musicians such as Jerónimo Maya and Jorge Pardo, he offered a great variety of songs. Some are a capella, others are accompanied by a guitarist or surrounded by friends in a more festive repertoire.

in 2010 he recorded the soundtrack to the movie El discípulo by Emilio Ruiz Barrachina.
