Peace Culture Group

The Peace Culture Group, led by Shyam Prasad Khadgi, was officially established in 1993, although it had become famous before the year 1993 performing programs in different places and giving training to new students. Shyam Prasad Khadgi studied at Nepal’s National Theatre, the Royal Nepal Academy and conducted research in every part of Nepal to learn about the traditional cultures of the Nepalese people and keep the culture alive.

The group’s aim is to keep the historic classic and folk dances of Nepal alive by collecting and improving the local folk songs and folk dances. It also carries out cultural exchanges throughout the world. Peace Culture Group also teaches Nepalese culture and trains new dancers.

Peace Culture Group has performed in Japan, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Singapore, Honking, Bangladesh, and India.
