WorldFest 2005, which is hel July 14-17, 2005, announced the addition of Mariachi
Los Camperos de Nati Cano to the Friday line-up. Long recognized
as the finest mariachi band anywhere, leader Nati Cano’s ensemble is renowned
for their collaboration with Linda Ronstadt on her masterpiece album, Canciones
de Mi Padre. “This stellar 9-piece band features falsetto vocal swoops, pristine
trumpet calls and glittering violins, a guaranteed showstopper to cap
Friday night.”

Camping tickets are still available: The most requested 4-day and 3-day tickets
with camping as well as 2-day and 1-day tickets with camping are now on-sale.
“It looks like we will again have a full campground so let your family and friends
know to get their tickets early.”
Free world music sampler: “While supplies last, you will receive
a CD from Putumayo Music with every order for camping tickets; a great introduction
to wonderful music of our world .”
Workshops
“Of course, we will have vocal, instrumental, dance and percussion workshops,
the renowned children’s program, international artisans and great food
from around the world. Bring your instruments and join in the campground jams
with your new musical friends or pack your dancing shoes to (re-) learn the
newest samba moves or twirl to a Bulgarian hora.”

the camping again selling out in advance. Purchase your tickets in advance and
save $15 off the gate price for a 3-day or 4-day adult camping ticket.”
Adult 4-day with camping = $110
Adult 3-day with camping = $100
Adult 2-day with camping = $70
Adult 1-day with camping = $45
Adult 1 Day NO camping = $30
The camping ticket includes all the music on 7 stages, all the workshops, and
on-site camping. (A youth camping ticket, age 13-16, is $50 for the whole festival
and a child’s camping ticket, age 5-12, is $30. Children under 5 are free.)
There is a $3 handling charge per order not per ticket. Orders not including
the $3 fee will not be processed.
