Ghanaian Afro Roots star, Rocky Dawuni will be performing

Rocky Dawuni continues to blaze new paths with his genre-bending album Book
of Changes, a progressive fusion of Reggae, Afro Beat, traditional African
sounds, and Hip Hop neo-griotism. Rocky’s recent live performances have seen legendary highlights including a
sold-out concert at Afro Funke’ in Los Angeles when none other than Stevie
Wonder graced the stage with him. Rocky was invited to be the musical
personality for the 2005 Reebok Humanitarian Awards where he was joined in song
with Peter Gabriel. Rocky launched Book of Changes at the 5th Annual
“Rocky Dawuni Independence Splash” in Accra, Ghana which was recorded for
national television and rebroadcast to an estimated captive audience of 15
million viewers. Rocky was also awarded a “Cultural Ambassador’s Award” by the
US Embassy in Ghana and Bookoor Popular African Foundation.
