Amir Nojan & Pejman Hadadi Present Persian Classical Music At Roulette

Amir Nojan & Pejman Hadadi are set to perform at Roulette on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The program, titled Persian Classical Music: “Whispers of the Dastgah”, features improvised performances rooted in the Persian classical modal system of dastgahs.

Setar player Amir Nojan draws on a lineage of study with leading Iranian masters and a career that includes collaborations with prominent vocalists and instrumentalists, as well as his work as an educator and ensemble founder.

Percussionist Pejman Hadadi brings a distinctive approach molded by his role in influential ensembles and extensive collaborations across Persian and cross-cultural traditions. Together, the duo will present spontaneous interpretations that reflect centuries of musical heritage while remaining responsive to the moment of performance.
