Darren Nicholson has released a new single, “Get Me Down The Line,” via Mountain Home Music Company.
The mandolin-wielding singer co-wrote the track with Charles Humphrey III and describes it as “a jukin’ little anthem for the person who is chasing the next best thing.” He adds that the song has drawn the strongest response of his career in concert.
The studio lineup includes Kristin Scott Benson on banjo, Mark Fain on bass, Tony Creasman on drums, and David Johnson on guitar and resonator guitar, with harmony vocals from Kevin Sluder and Avery Welter.
“I love writing songs about my own human experience,” shared Nicholson. “I hope maybe others can relate to them from time to time, and that you find yourself groovin’ along as well. Have fun and enjoy the quest for whatever ‘it’ is that gets you on down the line!”
