Fiddling Around the World: Pettit & Gira Make Themselves at Home

Here to Stay is the latest release from Jocelyn Pettit and Ellen Gira, an 11-track collection that reflects themes of home, travel, and musical kinship.

The duo first met in Scotland, yet have since returned to North America, a migratory path echoed in the album artwork, which features the Common Loon (also known as the Great Northern Diver).

Musically, the album mixes rich fiddle and cello interplay with layered harmonies, French Canadian foot percussion, and upbeat dance tunes.
