Thomas Cassell Welcomes You to Virginia”

Welcome to Virginia” by Thomas Cassell, released by Mountain Fever Records, is a song that contrasts the theme of relationship disappointment with the notion of Virginia as a center of love. Cassell’s mandolin blends with hopeful lyrics that eventually express the unpredictability of love. This track is poised to appeal to both traditional and modern bluegrass enthusiasts.

Though I don’t live there still, I’m very proud to be from southwestern Virginia, and feel so lucky to have grown up in a place with such rich bluegrass history. This song was born during a co-write with Tim Stafford, who also played guitar on the cut,” says Thomas.

The song features Thomas Cassell on mandolin and lead vocals; Tim Stafford on guitar; Ron Stewart on banjo; Bronwyn Keith-Hynes on fiddle; Max Etling on bass; and Marshall Wilborn on harmony vocals.
