“Limones” is the second single from Earthtones, the US-based artist and electronic music producer, from the upcoming album We Can Live Together. The album is set to be released on June 28th by Wonderwheel Records in New York. This track is among several collaborations with Latin American and East African artists, including Lido Pimiento and Verito Asprilla.
“Limones” emerged from Earthtones’ (Serge Bandura) friendship with artist/producer Cerrero, the owner of Discos Pacifico, Semblanzas’ record label. Bandura’s profound respect for Afro-Colombian music further influenced this collaboration.
Semblanzas Del Rio Guapi, formed in 2009, is a group from Colombia’s Pacific region. Their music aims to preserve the cultural traditions and roots of their ancestors. “It’s a blessing to work with them,” notes Serge.
