Gifted violinist, singer, and composer Violeta Díez Díez, better known artistically as Violeta Veinte, was born in Segovia, Spain. She began studying violin at six at the Conservatory of Segovia. Later, Violeta earned a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Alcalá de Henares before completing a jazz violin program at ESMUC. There, she trained under Joan Monné and Oriol Saña and developed her splendid vocal technique with Carme Canela. In addition to formal studies, she has always drawn inspiration from the traditional songs and jotas of her home region in central Spain.

A versatile and inquisitive musician, Violeta has collaborated with notable Spanish artists such as Fetén Fetén, Morgan, Las Migas, María de la Flor, Carolina Durante, Carlos Ares, Íñigo Quintero, Los Estanques, and Xerach Peñate. She has contributed to theatrical productions including El Ventrílocuo and Más Allá del Principito, as well as musicals such as Malinche and The Phantom of the Opera. Her orchestral experience includes performances with the VU-Orkest (Netherlands), the International Young Orchestra (IYO), and the Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León (JOSCyL).
Violeta’s achievements include winning the International Writers Camp in the Netherlands and the Segovia 10 award for local creators. She has recorded with artists such as Marilia Monzón, Swing Machine Orchestra, and Maria Yfeu, collaborating with producers like Juanma Latorre and Pablo Cebrián.
Violeta is a member of various ensembles, including Almadera, Still Life and Violeta Veinte Quartet.
In 2021, Violeta released an exquisite English-language song infused with neosoul and jazz titled “Almost Fine.”
Moving forward, in 2024, Violeta released Alorí, an enchanting EP album in Spanish that combines mesmerizing Segovian folk roots with contemporary jazz structures.
Alongside her performing career, she teaches professional violin at the influential Escuela de Música Creativa in Madrid.
