Ahmadreza Nabizadeh – Do Dooneh (X DOT 25 Music, 2022)
Ahmadreza Nabizadeh’s Do Dooneh masterfully amalgams Persian folk and pop using his powerful, emotive baritone voice. The album, performed entirely in Persian, includes several standout tracks such as the classic ‘Amoon Az Del-e Mo,” the epic ‘Pol,” and the beloved “Do Dooneh” and “Hizume Nimeh Nimeh.” These are songs crafted by some of the most prominent contemporary Persian songwriters.
Nabizadeh is a seasoned artist whose contributions to Persian music span decades. He began his musical career at age 13 with classical guitar, and later incorporated traditional Persian instruments into his repertoire. Since moving to the U.S., he has performed at universities and cultural events nationwide, building bridges between Iranian culture and broader audiences.
His debut album, Ye Roozi (Some Day…), was released in 1994 and marked the beginning of his collaboration with X DOT 25 Music, which distributed the album globally.
