La Linea 2024 Unveils Spectacular Opening Lineup with Latin Music Icons

La Linea – The London Latin Music Festival is set to make a return in April 2024, unveiling a stellar lineup for its opening weekend. The festival will kick off with a performance at the Barbican on April 12th, featuring the multi-Grammy award-winning Mexican-American singer-songwriter Lila Downs. Downs is renowned for her vibrant stage presence and innovative fusion of jazz, boleros, North American folk music, corridos, and cumbia.

On Sunday, April 14th, 2024 the legendary Norteño group Los Tigres del Norte will take the stage at London’s Eventim Apollo, marking their debut UK performance. The band has sold over 30 million albums sold and received a remarkable collection of seven Grammy Awards and twelve Latin Grammys.

On Saturday, April 13th, 2024 the Village Underground will host the return of French-Chilean vocalist Ana Tijoux, celebrated for her politically charged lyrics blending hip-hop, Latin pop, and R&B.

The Jazz Café will be the venue for Argentine Nu Cumbia singer-songwriter La Yegros on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 La Yegros will present a dynamic show combining electronica and psychedelic sounds with musical traditions from Argentine culture and rural South America.

Tickets for these performances go on sale at 10 am on Friday, November 10th, via www.lalineafestival.com.
