Flamenco Guitar Virtuoso Fermín Fernández

Born in Granada, Spain, in 1995, Fermín Fernández has meticulously carved a path for himself over time, emerging as one of the most promising young flamenco guitarists in Spain.

His ardor for the flamenco guitar ignited when he was merely eleven, and for several years now, he has graced the stage as a seasoned professional. In the year 2017, and once again in 2023, he embarked on a journey to both China and Japan. He entranced audiences with the captivating artistry of the Compañía de Ballet Flamenco de Javier Martos, with whom he traversed the globe for over two months.

Having triumphed in the prestigious Bordón Minero competition at the influential Cante de las Minas de La Unión (Murcia), the Granadian guitarist found his dream so thoroughly realized that he contemplated forgoing participation in the National Flamenco Art Contest in Córdoba (CNAF). Yet, he chose to partake, and once again emerged triumphant, vanquishing competitors with unyielding skill and fervor. These two illustrious awards have anointed Fernández, unequivocally proclaiming him as a luminary amongst flamenco guitarists.

The skilled touch of this Granadian maestro enthralls all who have the privilege of hearing it. Notably, he honed his guitar mastery through self-guided discipline.
