“For The Night” by innovative Scottish band Elephant Sessions won the Album of The Year category at the 2022 MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards.
In their newsletter, the band stated: “Thanks for voting for us, we won Album of the Year at the Trad Awards, and we are delighted! We had the pleasure of working with an incredible team – Duncan Lyall and Garry Boyle both went above and beyond (not to mention our monstrous string section) – Everyone put their all into making this album and to see it rewarded in such a way means the world, so thank you again. It truly topped off an amazing year for us!“
