Napoli World 2022, to present its first showcase festival and international b2b meeting

Napoli World 2022 will take place December 7-10 in Naples, Italy. December at the Fondazione Foqus, the Teatro Nuovo, the Hotel Oriente, located in the suggestive Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish District) and will conclude with a major event at the Teatro Mediterraneo.

The event is envisioned as a world music festival, an important live gathering aimed at musicians and professionals in the music field, although it will be open to the city. Davide Mastropaolo and Fabio Scopino, founders of Italian World Beat, are the artistic directors.

The initiative, funded and promoted by the Municipality of Naples as part of the “Naples City of Music” project, is strongly supported by the Mayor of Naples and his delegate for the music and audiovisual industry Ferdinando Tozzi. In line with the guidelines of “Naples City of Music”, Naples World 2022 aims to enhance the musical professionalism of the area through an internationalization process, developing the export of the city’s musical activities and networking them with the various realities in the music world. From this point of view, the showcase festival makes it possible to activate lasting cultural and entrepreneurial relationships with prestigious institutions from all over the world.

In addition to offering an exclusive showcase for artists and local operators, Naples World 2022 aims to become a national reference over the years, with the awareness that the city of Naples has the potential to represent a focus of attraction for the music sector, especially in the world music field, proposing itself as the cultural capital of the Mediterranean and the M.E.N.A. and as a driving force for economic, cultural and social development through the universal language of music.
