Renowned Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés died on November 21, 2022 in Madrid, Spain. He was 79 years old.
Milanés was one of the most influential singer-songwriters from Cuba. Indeed, he wrote memorable songs cherished by the Spanish-speaking community in the Americas and Spain. Moreover, he was one of the founders of a genre called nueva trova cubana.
